The Peter White Public Library is celebrating Banned Books Week with an art exhibit, a banned books reading and banned and challenged book bingo.

The Banned Books Week Art Exhibit can be viewed in the Huron Mountain Club Gallery Monday, September 19 – Saturday, September 24, 2022.

This pop-up exhibition showcases the history of banned and challenged books in the US. Share your thoughts on how some of these titles impacted your life. No admission charge.

Prominent community members will share passages from challenged books that help shape and reflect the world in which we live during Books Unite Us Reading, on Wednesday September 21, 2022 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the Huron Mountain Club Gallery.

For the the month of September, stop by and grab a Challenged /Banned Books Bingo Card from any service desk. Read three in a row, then return it to the library (any service desk) for a chance to win  Snowbound Books Gift card.  Printable PDF of Bingo cards here.
