2022 -2023 Book Groups meeting in-person at PWPL
Our newest book group focusing on narrative nonfiction book picks that tell stories of our past, present, and future. This book group is for people who enjoy reading nonfiction that reads like fiction.
Meetings are scheduled for 1pm on the third Wednesday of the month. We will meet in the Peter White Conference Room on the main floor.
It’s no understatement that we all live in a well-connected world, so let’s read about it! Global Geeks is the place for bookworms with an interest in global topics, issues, and ideas.
In an attempt to diversify our bookshelves, we will be reading mostly literary fiction by authors from places other than the United States. Book selections will be posted on the PWPL website. Participation will be on a drop-in basis.
Meetings are scheduled for 6 p.m. on the third Monday of every month. Join us for some lively discussion and good company in the Dandelion Cottage room.
A book group for readers, who love to cook.
Each month we will discuss a book, and share our cooking adventures inspired by the month's book. Participants are encouraged, but not required, to come with food to share. The Library provides table service and beverages. (Participants are encouraged to bring their own eating utensils so that we aren't generating as much waste from single use plastics.)
Meetings are scheduled for noon on the second Tuesday of the month. We meet in the George Shiras III Room on the top floor of the Library.
