Have books delivered to your mailbox!

Patrons may sign up for the Peter White Public Library's free Books by Mail program. Library patrons may have books and audiobooks mailed directly to their homes at no cost. Patrons are responsible for returning items to the library. Items may be returned directly to the library, to one of our remote drop boxes, or by mail return postage is the patron's expense). Remote drops are located at the Sands Township Hall, Skandia Township Hall, Chocolay Township Hall, and Westwood Mall.
Who is eligible? Children and adults who cannot visit the library due to a physical or medical disability and their caregivers qualify for books by Mail service. If you have any questions about whether you qualify for the program, call Margaret Boyle at 906/226-4310.
What do you need?

  1. Access to a computer with Internet. If you do not have this, reference desk staff at the library can provide you with reader's advisory service and help place holds. The reference desk may be reached directly at 226-4311.
  2. A PWPL Library Card.
