Celebrate National Library Week

Posted on

📚✨ It’s National Library Week — our favorite time of year! ✨📚

Each April, we’re reminded just how vital libraries are to the health and heart of our communities. Public libraries aren’t just buildings with books — they’re vibrant hubs where curiosity is encouraged, ideas are shared, and people of all backgrounds are welcomed and empowered.

At Peter White Public Library and libraries across the country, we’re proud to:

📘Offer equitable access to books, digital tools, and innovative programming.
👩‍🏫Partner with schools, businesses, and local organizations to strengthen our community.
🌟Inspire young minds with storytimes, STEAM activities, and literacy programs.
👍Champion intellectual freedom and the right to read, think, and explore.

This year’s theme is “Drawn to the Library” — a celebration of the many ways libraries connect us, support us, and spark imagination.

Stop by this week to explore something new, say hello to your librarians, and discover all the ways your library draws us together. 💙📖
