Your donations make direct impact

Tax deductible donations to the Peter White Public Library provide the extra help that the library needs to open the world of reading for our community’s children, connect people with information and inspire a lifetime of learning for all. Our programs and services enrich the local  community and touch individual lives.  And all of these opportunities are made possible with generous support from people like you.

Your gift helps support:

  • Children’s services and programs that entertain, inform and arouse curiosity
  • Music and special exhibits that inspire and educate our community
  • Enhanced collections of books, films, music and audio books for all ages

The Library does not share donor information.

Book Donations

Donated items that will enhance our collection will be added for circulation.  We sell items we don’t immediately need in one of our bi-annual sales or in our ongoing Friends Book Store on the Main Floor of the library.  (See our Collection Development Policy.)

Book donations may be dropped off at the PWPL Circulation Desk during library hours.  Please do not put book donations in the book drops.
