Join our Youth Services team to inspire young minds with your passion for literature and creativity

PWPL Application and resume are required, a cover letter is preferred.

Starting Pay: $14.60/hr with annual step increases.

Benefits Include: PTO leave and paid holidays.

Hours of Work: Average weekly hours 20 – 24/week. Evening and Weekend hours are required.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Assisting youth and their caregivers in their use of the Youth Services Department.

Creating and implementing library programs for youth.

Assisting with library material and literacy-related projects.

Performing routine tasks to ensure a clean and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or significant related experience is required.

Candidates must have a strong desire to work directly with youth and their caregivers.

Previous customer service experience is required, and previous library experience is preferred.
