Maintenance Assistant (Job Description)
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
- No specific degree is required, but experience in cleaning and facility maintenance is preferred.
- Strong desire to work in a library setting and support library services.
- Demonstrated ability to use good judgment in all situations.
- Possess a proactive public service philosophy.
Application Requirements: PWPL Application and resume are required, a cover letter is optional.
📅 Application Deadline: Friday, July 12, 2024.
Starting Pay: $13.60/hr with annual step increases.
Benefits Include: PTO leave and paid holidays.
🕒 Hours of Work: Average weekly hours 20/week. Evening and Weekend hours are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- ✔️ Cleans library facility.
- ✔️ Setup of library rooms for library programming and for outside groups using the facility.
- ✔️ Performing routine tasks to ensure a clean and efficient work environment.
