The Peter White Public Library is now a site for the Child and Adult Care Food Program, a program partially funded by the Department of Agriculture (USDA) for the purpose of providing supplemental nutrition to communities.

Children 18 and under can come to the Youth Services Desk Monday – Friday from 2:45 pm – 5:45 pm and receive a free, nutritious healthy snack.  Teens can stop at the Teen Desk for their snacks. The program will provide snacks Monday through Friday throughout the school year, including in-service days, school breaks and snow days. Community sponsors for this service include the PWPL Friends of the Library and the YMCA of Marquette County.
