COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month,  Peter White Public Library is hosting  Your Mind Matters, Raising awareness for Mental Health for the month of May 2023.  Patrons and community members are encouraged to participate in free programming throughout the library.  It’s important to work together to break down the stigma surrounding mental illness and ensure that everyone has access to the support and care they need to live healthy and fulfilling lives. By raising awareness, providing resources and support, and advocating for policies prioritizing mental health, we can progress toward this shared vision. Let’s continue to work towards a society that prioritizes and supports mental health for all.

Stay tuned for an interactive event calendar specifically for this month’s Community Conversations, Your Mind Matters.

At the height of the 2019 Pandemic Lock Down, PWPL’s Community Conversations were virtual interviews that occurred every Tuesday at 9:00 am.  Each interview was posted to our website and social media channels – Facebook and Instagram. Presently, all the Community Conversation interviews can be found on our YouTube page – Link Here.

Our virtual interviews have taken a pause.  Patrons can continue to have their own community conversations about the things that matter to them.
