Request for Quote: Concrete Removal and Replacement

The Peter White Public Library Board of Trustees seeks qualified contractors to remove and replace concrete at three designated locations on library property. This project includes demolition, subgrade preparation, concrete installation, and site cleanup.

Scope of Work

  • Demolition & Removal 3 Locations. 

    • Location 1: 6′ x 16′ driveway section. 

    • Location 2: 10′ x 46′ sidewalk near the front book drop (excluding newer concrete under the book drop and bollards).

    • Location 3: Parking lot islands (pea gravel removed in advance).

  • Subgrade Preparation:

    • Compact and level for proper drainage and support.

  • Concrete Installation:

    • Pour 4-inch slabs with 4000 PSI mix, reinforced with 6×6 W1.4/W1.4 WWF.

    • Apply a broom finish and install appropriate joints.

  • Clean-Up:

    • Remove debris and leave the site clean and safe.

  • Qualifications and relevant experience.

  • Itemized cost estimate.

  • Timeline for start and completion.

  • Proof of insurance and references.
