The Countdown to Summer Reading Begins – 10 Days to Go!

The excitement is building as we countdown to the Summer Reading Program! In just 10 days, on Saturday, June 8, 2024 the Peter White Public Library invites you to dive into a summer of reading fun for all ages.

Registration Opens:
Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at 9:30 AM (online) for Youth & Teen programs

  • Kids Read! : Youth birth – 14 years REGISTER HERE
    • After registering, stop by Youth Services for your reading log.
  • Teens Read! : Youth in 6th -12 grade REGISTER HERE
    • After registering, stop by the Teen Zone OR Youth Services for your reading log.
  • Adults – No registration required! 

Youth Kickoff Event Details:

Date: Saturday, June 8, 2024
Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Community Room, Peter White Public Library

Activities:

  • Giant Marble Maze: Kids can build and run a giant marble maze.
  • Build Marquette out of LEGOs: Join in the fun and help create our city out of LEGO bricks.
  • LEGO Challenges: Participate in various exciting LEGO challenges.

Teen Reads!

  • Reading Logs: Pick up your reading logs at the Teen Zone or Youth Service Desk.

Adult Program:

  • Bookmarks: Don’t forget to grab your bookmarks on the 2nd level.
  • Prize Drawing: Submit up to 10 books for a chance to win Snowbound Gift Cards before August 3rd!

Join us in celebrating the joy of reading with activities and programs designed for everyone. Whether you’re a kid, a teen, or an adult, there’s something for you at the Peter White Public Library this summer.
