Are you a fan of estate sales and auctions? Drop by Peter White Public Library to take advantage of our Library Treasure Sale and Silent Auction taking place this September.
The Library staff have been cleaning closets, and we will be offering items for sale. These are items which have been collecting dust in our closets, under desks and hidden away in various other nooks and crannies. If you like a good treasure hunt, you’ll want to be sure you visit the library!
Treasure Sale
The Library Treasure Sale will take place in the Business Reference Room on the upper floor of the library. This sale will be held Thursday, September 7 from 10:00 am-5:00 pm; Friday, September 8 from 10:00 am-6:00 pm; and Saturday, September 9 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm.  Don’t let the dust bunnies fool you. There are many collectibles included in this sale: china sets, a 24-carat gold-plated kazoo, statues, vases, toys and more!
Silent Auction
Through the month of September, the Peter White Public Library will display art, furniture, and other objects which will be sold as part of a fundraising silent auction. Visit the Huron Mountain Club Gallery on the main floor of the Library to view this exhibit. Items will be available for bid September 1- September 29.
Proceeds from the sale and silent auction will benefit library services and programs.  For more information, visit www.pwpl.info or call 906/228-9510.
