Currently, the Peter White Public Library is in Phase 2 of reopening. Know we’ve been doing much behind the scenes to prepare both patrons and staff for every phase of the process.

To that end, Phase 3 will begin next week.

We will begin by opening the book drop for the materials you’ve been so patiently holding, then starting our curbside option for checking out materials. The book drop will be open and ready for materials starting Monday, June 8th. The following Monday, June 15th, will be the day curbside service will start.

If you have materials on hold, check out your account to determine whether you’re still interested in the materials you have put on hold. If so, you don’t have to do any actions. However, since there are now hundreds of materials waiting to be pulled and picked up, if you no longer need or want those materials, please sign into your pwpl.info to cancel the materials. Call 906-228-9510 if you need further help canceling your holds.

As of today, we are busy working out our new processes and doing dry runs to ensure we get items to our patrons as efficiently as possible. Unfortunately, we don’t have many more details about these processes, but, when we do, we will be sure to make announcements.
