Winter Reading Rocks 2025 is Here! Registration Now Open!

Get ready to rock your winter with Peter White Public Library’s Winter Reading Rocks 2025 program! Registration opens online today, January 11, and we have plenty of activities to kick things off.

🎭 Family Masquerade Dance – Rock Out for Winter Reading!
Families of all ages, join us for a rockin’ Masquerade Dance Party!
📅 When: Saturday, January 11, 11 AM–1 PM
📍 Where: Peter White Public Library
🎶 Enjoy family-friendly tunes spun by DJ Mark Shevy.
🎨 Create masks in the Great Room.
🎁 Register for Winter Reading at the event—kids get to pick out their first rock and rock-collecting bag!
Free and fun for everyone.

📚 Winter Reading Program Details

  • Who Can Join? Youth birth to age 14.
  • How to Participate: Register online HERE. Registration is open through February.
  • Program Overview:
    • Kids will read (or listen) to earn cool rocks to grow their collections!
    • Pick up your reading logs in the Kids Room after registering online.
    • For every completed log, choose a new rock and get your next reading log.
    • Note: Rocks are not suitable for very young children who might swallow small items. For them, we recommend joining our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program.
    • Deadline to submit logs: March 1, 2025.

Older kids (grades 6–8) can join either the Kids Winter Reading Program or the Teens Winter Reading Program. Click HERE to register for the Teen program.
