Cyber Clinic ad for Families

Cyber Clinic is Back!

Posted on

Cyber Clinic: Families is designed for parents and guardians of children and teens who want to ensure their kids stay safe online.
Monday, March 17 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the Shiras Room.

Navigating today’s ever-changing cyber world can be challenging, especially when it comes to staying safe online and recognizing scams.

Peter White Public Library, in partnership with the Upper Peninsula Cybersecurity Institute (UPCI), is excited to offer the Marquette community authoritative, up-to-date information about computer and internet safety through our new program series, Cyber Clinic.

This Session will cover:

Managing apps and understanding which ones allow contact with others.
Talking to children about their online activity.
Practical strategies to help safeguard your family’s digital interactions.
Attendees are welcome to submit specific questions ahead of time by emailing upcyber@nmu.edu, and there will also be a live Q&A session during the presentation.
