Join Our Team as a Circulation Aide at Peter White Public Library!

Circulation Aide – Job Description – 2024 

Application requirements: PWPL Application and resume are required, a cover letter is optional. The application preference deadline is November 10, 2024. 

Starting pay: $13.55/hr with annual step increases. 

Benefits include: PTO leave and paid holidays.   

Hours of work: Average weekly hours 20 – 24/week. Evening and Weekend hours are required.  

Key responsibilities include: 

• Assisting patrons with checking in and out library materials 

• Answering inquiries and explaining library policies 

• Shelving books and other library materials 

• Performing routine tasks to ensure a clean and efficient work environment. 

Previous customer service experience is required, and previous library experience is preferred.
