Libraries exist through public funding, but private gifts and community support allow them to flourish and achieve excellence.
To meet the needs of our community and ready for the opportunities of tomorrow, the Board of the Peter White Public Library Development Fund established Endowment Funds to receive and administer contributions to benefit the sustainable future of the library.
Endowment funds provide a permanent source of income to meet PWPL’s various needs. Funds will continue to grow and generate interest for the vital expansion and upgrading of materials and the provision of public programs that will enrich the lives of current and future patrons. PWPL has raised over $1.6 Million in the first phase of the Endowment Fund campaign. In 2023, PWPL’s services benefited for the first time ever from the endowed funds. PWPL now receives $30,000 in income from the combined funds annually.
