Plowing and snow removal at Peter White Public Library

The Peter White Public Library is seeking quotes for plowing and snow removal on the library grounds. This includes the library parking lot as well as the staff entrance/dumpster access off Ridge Street.

It is expected that all those submitting quotes will be able to get the parking lot cleared prior to library’s opening at 9:30 am (on days when the library is open for business.) PWPL operating hours and holidays can be found on our website: https://pwpl.info/about/hours-location/

Interested parties should include the following information in their quote:

• Rate for plowing using a standard plow truck. Please detail if this rate is a flat rate or hourly rate.
• Rate for plowing using a loader or other comparable equipment. Please detail if this rate is a flat rate or hourly rate.
• Rate for sanding. Please detail if this rate is a flat rate or hourly rate.
• Rate to haul snow. Please detail if this rate is a flat rate or hourly rate. In a typical winter this is done a couple of times. Library to determine when this should be completed.
• Billing frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly).
• Contact information.
• Two business references who can speak on behalf of plowing services rendered.

Contracts can be renewed if work is acceptable for up to 4 years (with reasonable pricing increases) and will begin Winter 24/25.

The library is not obliged to retain services or renew the contract if work expectations are not met.

PWPL will accept quotes until October 3, 2024, 5:00 pm.
