NEA Big Read Kickoff: Teal Lake Drum Circle & John Smolens

Posted on in Live Music

Teal Lake Drum Circle and author/historical writer John Smolens help us kickoff our month-long NEA Big Read Programming based on Roz Chast’s graphic memoir "Cant’ We Talk About Something More Pleasant?" The Teal Lake Drum Circle will open and close the evening with the gift of music, with Smolens delivering a keynote address focused on researching/writing about history/historical personages in order to understand who we are and where we live.
