Great Lakes Poetry Festival is back! Mark your calendars for April 20-25, 2026. To plan your GLPF experience, head to our events page to learn more.

This years headline poet is Dennis Hinrichsen. Hinrichsen will be leading a writing workshop Monday, April 20 at 2:00 p.m. in the Shiras Room. Later that same day, Hinrichsen’s reading will be at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room. Find more about Dennis Hinrichsen here.

Our keynote speakers this year are Patricia Killelea and Cindy Hunter Morgan.

Patricia Killelea‘s keynote reading will take place on Earth Day Wednesday, April 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room. Find more about Patricia Killelea here.

Cindy Hunter Morgan’s keynote presentation will take place on Thursday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room. Hunter Morgan will also be leading a filmetry screening Friday, April 24 at 12:00 p.m. in the Community Room. Find more about Cindy Hunter Morgan here.
